RV Life Diaries Pt 7: Theodore Roosevelt National Park

It's been a while since you last got a peek into our lives as full time RVers! Last time I left off, we were pulling into Medora, North Dakota to see Theodore Roosevelt National Park. After two weeks of on and off driving, my husband and I were very excited to stay put for more than a couple days and see some adorable prairie dogs.  TRNP: Painted Canyon Visitor Center Right before entering Medora, there is the Painted Canyon Visitor Center for Theodore Roosevelt National Park (TRNP for short). After driving over those grated metal bars that keep wild animals contained…

RV Life Diaries Part 5: A Month in Daytona Beach, Florida

While we were in Tennessee we ended up right along the storm path that was going around the Texas heat dome, so to escape severe storms every day, we decided to drive down to Daytona Beach, Florida to visit family for a while. Spontaneous Decision to Drive Down to Florida This was kind of a spontaneous decision, but a much needed break! We were being hit by all these severe storms day after day as they followed a jet stream around the Texas heat dome. The path we planned to travel through Illinois and into Wisconsin and Minnesota was also…

RV Life Diaries Part 4: Douglas Lake, Tennessee

After our time spent in the Asheville area, we continued to move west. We took I-40 through the Great Smoky Mountains to get to our next campground in Tennessee. The outer Knoxville area is a beautiful place to stay with plenty of sites and activities. We found a real gem of a campground near Sevierville right on Lake Douglas, so we had a nice peaceful area to come back to after exploring. Driving Through the Great Smokys and Tennessee Our drive was relatively uneventful (which is good!) over to our campground. We took the interstate just north of the Great…

RV and Vanlife Travel Day Checklist

As full-time travelers, a travel day checklist is essential to get us on the road in a timely manner without forgetting to do anything. Use this checklist for whenever you are traveling in your RV or Van to make travel days as easy as possible. Scroll down for a free printable Canva template to keep in your drivers console.…

RV Life Diaries Part 1: Driving Down to Raleigh

In May of this year we hit the road with the intentions of traveling to see the country and find a place to settle down. We started our journey with driving down to Raleigh, North Carolina. Moving into the RV We completely moved our of our apartment a few days before we were ready to get on the road.
